YORK MONTHLY MEETING FIRST DAY SCHOOL

York Monthly Meeting is raising money to fund construction of a small building to be used for their First Day School and other activities.  As you may know, our small Meeting House, built in 1766, is inadequate to serve both Meeting for Worship and First day School.  At the present time the children are walking over to a nearby Episcopal Church for their activities. The proposed building will be designed with the original architecture of a carriage shed that was once on the property in mind.  It will need to meet the approval of the City of York Historical Society.  Friends Ed and Fran Norton have recently cut a CD “A MUSICAL FEAST” of their Flute and Friends Trio (Flute, Harpsichord/Keyboard, and Cello) and are donating proceeds to the First Day School Building Fund.  The CD contains 22 tracks of diversified classical music that is well suited for quiet listening and meditation.       

Cost: $15.00 plus .62 packaging and 1.68 postage- TOTAL $17.30
